Having started his entrepreneurial journey in 1996, Dinesh has successfully spearheaded numerous initiatives which have driven IndiaMART to its peak of success. His entrepreneurial ride is marked by various new endeavors which he took from time to time to cater to the small and medium enterprises.
Dinesh constantly scouted for expansion avenues and worked towards adding value to the society. In 1999, he launched auto.indiamart.com which provided information to consumers about the latest products available in the auto sector. Due to the lack of response, he decided to close the venture. The journey did not stop here. Besides focusing on IndiaMART, he decided to foray into online gifts and shopping with Indiangiftsportal.com in 2000. With time, he led his way into various ventures, which were successfully managed and driven by him.
Dinesh’s professional strengths are a result of varied experience involved in starting up a business from scratch. He is extremely passionate about promoting entrepreneurship amongst young professionals. His enthusiasm extends even to his employees, many of whom he has helped become entrepreneurs.
